With Live Scan (Digital) Fingerprinting, your fingerprints will be captured electronically via our live scan technology. With this method, your fingerprints are captured and can be sent directly to specific agencies and/or printed out on an FD-258 card. With this process there is no ink; your fingerprints are simply rolled across a glass screen which will capture the sequence of your prints and be displayed on a computer screen. Due to the absence of ink, fingerprints captured digitally can be clearer and also decrease the chance of your prints being rejected.

Our live scan fingerprinting includes two cards provided to you at the time of service.

Other cards available for fingerprinting are FINRA and SF-87. We are able to capture your prints and print them to any state specific card.

FDLE fingerprinting is performed for those who need fingerprints submitted to the state of Florida 

for the purposes of employment, licensure, adoption, etc. Florida's Department of Law Enforcement is the only department responsible for all background checks for civilians in the state. 

FDLE fingerprints are captured via live scan (digitally) and sent directly to the FDLE.

Some Florida state employees may need to get an FDLE Background check periodically. A state-only criminal history record check can be requested under the public records law in Florida.

An ORI number will be required to receive an FDLE Background Check. This code indicates the reason  for getting a background check and where to send the results. Applicants should be given instructions from the requesting agency which will include an ORI number.
